Can you switch gears quickly and do you have communication skills in addition to numerical skills? Stibbe is looking for a service-oriented and enthusiastic Billing & Collections Employee.

Some of your tasks:
As a Billing & Collections Employee you manage all common Billing, e-Billing and Collections activities within our office, such as:

  • you act as an enquirer and first point of contact for Fee Earners and Assistants regarding all kinds of billing related issues;
  • you consult with Partners regarding the timely declaration of work in progress;
  • you ensure that claims via various e-Billing platforms are processed correctly;
  • you monitor your own international accounts receivable portfolio;
  • you record and maintain our clients' specific and various rate and discount agreements.

The team:

You will work closely with eight Billing & Collections Employees and the Team Leader of the department, to whom you also report. The Billing & Collections department falls under the Finance & Collections department. The Finance & Collections department is managed by the Chief Financial Officer.
Together with your team, you will make a major contribution to the quality of Stibbe's services.

Who are we looking for?

A driven colleague who likes to roll up his sleeves and works and thinks at HBO/HEAO level. You have several years of work experience in a similar position, preferably within the legal profession or business services. You are service and client-oriented, professionally strong and able to work independently and systematically. You have an excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing and you have excellent Microsoft Office skills. Experience with iManage and Aderant is a plus.

  • you keep an overview of your own work, set priorities and monitor deadlines;
  • you are accessible and open to feedback;
  • you are a team player who is also able to work independently;
  • you have both feet firmly on the ground and a sense of humor;
  • you can switch quickly and are stress resistant;
  • you are flexible in terms of jumping in and taking over tasks from colleagues in the department;
  • you do not have a 9 to 5 mentality.
