Technical Information Security Officer (TISO)

The Technical Information Security Officer is responsible for technical information security and cybersecurity measures. You assess new initiatives for technical security and ensure their integration within existing and future-oriented architecture, policy and infrastructure.

Dutch proficiency is required for this position.

Your duties will include

You manage the continuity plan and direct the processes related to it. You perform risk analyses, monitor risks and report on them. You ensure the quality of security assessments, tests and reviews. You help ensure that the knowledge of IT Security, IT Risks and IT Compliance is present within the Stibbe IM organization and that these take into account the security & compliance measures in the solutions that are developed and implemented. You are the crucial link within the organization and are the link between the strategic policy and the operational implementation of information security.

You are also responsible for drafting technical improvement proposals focused on the security of Azure-related environments, with a primary focus on Azure Active Directory (Entra), Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure. You coordinate responses to security incidents, including identifying and addressing threats by implementing appropriate measures, following the principles of the Microsoft Cybersecurity Reference Architecture MCRA.

You will contribute to the development of a robust security architecture within Azure, based on CIS Controls, best practices and compliance guidelines and serve as the first point of contact for security or privacy related incident reports within Azure (AD) and M365 environments.

You are also responsible for getting technology solutions implemented by the Managed Service Provider, aimed at increasing security in Azure (AD) and M365 related aspects, in line with MCRA guidelines.

You will contribute to the tactical and operational information security strategy and perform day-to-day management activities for technical information security aspects within Azure. You provide periodic reports on security incidents and the effectiveness of measures taken within these environments, in line with MCRA guidelines.

You will be actively involved with the Security Operations Center (SOC) service provider, with regular consultation and collaboration to ensure high level monitoring and detection of potential threats and to ensure that any identified risks are proactively addressed according to established procedures.

The team

You will report to the Director IM and be part of Stibbe's IM department.

Who are we looking for?

An enthusiastic colleague with HBO working and thinking level, supplemented with relevant certifications. You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience as a TISO (or similar position), with a focus on increasing security within Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Azure and M365. You have experience in developing tactical information security policies focused on Azure environments. You also possess Azure Security certification (Microsoft Certified). You are proactive, stress resistant, flexible and result oriented. Furthermore, you have a good command of both the Dutch and English language both verbally and in writing and you are proficient in the MS Office package.
