Do you have at least one year of work experience as a secretary/assistant and are you looking for a varied position in an inspiring environment? Stibbe is immediately looking for a secretary/assistant for the Tax practice group (0.8 FTE).

A selection of your tasks

You will participate in the daily practice of the lawyers, take care of efficient agenda management and the planning and preparation of appointments, meetings and travel arrangements. You ensure correct file structure and handle the corresponding incoming and outgoing documents. You make expense claims and monitor the progress of the hours entered in the timekeeping system (Aderant). You also maintain the customer relationship management database (ContactManager). You handle many different cases simultaneously and process them independently. In this context, you are expected to have a high degree of accuracy, independence and flexibility.

The team 
You are part of a team of 3 assistants. The assistants are responsible for the secretarial support of the various lawyers within the practice group and are directly managed by (among others) a team leader. Together with the team, you will make a major contribution to the quality of the practice group and Stibbe's services.

Who are we looking for?
An enthusiastic colleague who ensures that everything runs smoothly for his/her lawyers. You have completed at least an intermediate vocational education. In addition, you preferably have several years of experience as a secretary/assistant within the legal profession or business services. You are a team player who is also able to work independently and prioritise tasks as you see fit. You are proactive, stress-resistant and flexible, also in terms of jumping in and taking over tasks from colleagues. Furthermore, you have an excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing, and are proficient in the Microsoft Office package.

  • You have a client-oriented and collegial attitude;
  • You have an overview of your own work, set priorities and keep track of deadlines;
  • Are you able to initiate the correct follow-up after a client contact;
  • Are you willing to continue developing within the legal secretarial profession;
  • Don't have a 9 to 5 mentality;
  • Are you open to feedback.
